That map is a bit confusing. The LAX map on the FlyDelta app is more accurate. Essentially, T2 and T3 have been combined into one central “head house”. The checkin desks are still in the same location at T2, but as other have said, you go down the hall a little bit towards T3 and upstairs to the new combined security checkpoint for both terminals. After security you go left to T3 or right to T2. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Westjet flights at both terminals but it really doesn’t matter once you know your gate assignments (T2 is numbered in the 20’s and T3 in 30s)

For 7am I would expect it to be very busy. LAX traffic is always horrific and Delta is running a lot of morning flights out of LAX these days so those terminals will likely be packed.
