If you want beautiful beaches and water for pics, go to the Bahamas. If you stay on the Impression side, you will have beautiful views of the water. You will see Cozumel in the distance. We walked on the beach both ways and they have older resorts on both sides. Look on the internet and you can see thousands of pictures that have been taken. It has been said repeatedly the beach is not great there. The views of the ocean are very nice. I prefer looking at the great expanse of ocean with a cocktail in my hand at a roof top pool.
