Anyone can help at all? Surely BA is required by EC261 to put me on a flight back, whether through BA or any other airline if there's a seat available (and there is based on what I see, including to Gatwick or via KLM / Lufthansa / Air France etc)?
The master disruption thread is where you need to head but work out your options first before calling BA. search for flights with KLM to see if there are tickets available for purchase. Eurostar is out as an option it seems. Worse case you may need to pay and claim. The cancellation is due to weather. Both AMS and LCY are affected by strong winds with high ATC delays. Do not liaise with BA on Twitter, the Twitter team are on 'lines to take' and there is currently big push on trying to get people to accept refunds, thus getting BA off the hook. Maintain your booking and contact BA with the options you've found that are acceptable to you, but compromise may well be necessary. Worst case will be pay and claim. Duty of Care still applies even though this is a weather related cancellation.
