Plusgrade is very expensive... 600Zl minimum out, 550zl back. Basically double GYD with a similar flying time. Really not tempting as you'll better off in the Exit than Eurofraud Business, especially as its the extremely safe MAX and the 0B one often too... two rows seems typical which gives you an idea of the connecting premium load via WAW .
I flew last November and described my experience on FT as follows: I ended up flying in C on my way to Cairo and Y on the way back to WAW. The business meal was a mix of all sorts of cold cuts (duck, turkey, roast beef etc.), salad, cheese, smoked salmon and dessert. On the way back we did get a sandwich (choice of cheese and "ham") plus tea/coffee, water and "Grzeski". Actually quite enough for a 3.5 hrs flight. Both flights were full but what surprised me was the composition of passengers. I thought it would be full of Polish tourists. Instead, the plane was full of passengers transiting through Warsaw to North Americca. The 15:20 arrival at WAW is very convenient for catching flights to ORD, YYZ or JFK. It seems that LOT, after cancelling flights from Eastern Europe, now gets transit passengers from India and the Middle East (+Kosovo, Romania and Moldova). BTW, I bought upgrade when LOT, for a short time, was flying to CAI overnight (dep. at 22:30), but by the time of my flight they returned to more sensible hours. The best thing about the flight was that it was direct. I go to Caio once a year and was trying many different routes, often with Egyptair or Turkish.
