Regarding parking in the SFO walk-to-terminal domestic garage. Parked there last month and was annoyed to find all the space on Level 3 were taken - not a problem I had previously encountered. Then made the mistake of driving to level 4 which is basically off limits. (Level 5 is still carshare/limos AFAIK)
So in sum, my advice is to go directly to Level 2, do not pass go…
