She is going to want/need some spending money during her week in Prague. If I just hand her shekels to convert there, she will consider herself to be a charity case. I had roughly $100 in U.S. currency and an equivalent amount in Euros. I told her that I have no use for these currencies and she can take them with her to spend in Prague. If I suddenly "find" some Czech koronas "in a desk drawer" left over from my trip there, I can add them to her spending money.
OK. Do you anticipate that she will need more than $100
and €100 in Czech currency? If so, then it makes sense to take
kipper up on his kind offer. But if you expect that the Czech equivalent of the dollars and Euros you are already prepared to give her will more than meet her spending needs . . . .
