Thanks for your insights CWS. I can agree that not telling passengers that the bags haven't been loaded before take off might be wise, however before landing it would be good to alert them in order that they don't hang around un-necessarily for bags that won't arrive on the belt and they and can get their onward journeys from the airport further organised.
