But the highlight for me was when Willie Walsh recently tried to blame the Heathrow issues on HAL’s failure to employ enough ground handlers, when he surely must know that ground handling is an airline responsibility (and one which BA has inexplicably chosen to keep in-house despite decades of problems).
On that note, it might be worth BA “opening consultations” on outsourcing ground handling at Heathrow. Setting the cat among the pigeons might improve things somewhat.
