No idea on holidays but on ba flights it is a big fat no. I had 2 business to Miami booked when my wife and I separated. I went alone to salvage something but no refund / name change etc.

Bear in mind even Ryanair allow name change but not “ a full service airline “ whatever one of those is.

still not forgiven them. Oh and the cabin was full so they sold the seat twice.
