Hello:

My wife and I are traveling from Boston to Chicago on the Lake Shore Limited, with a Roomette reserved. I appears that Boston does not check baggage, but you can check baggage in Albany-Rensselaer. Also, I am seeing that these days that Lake Shore passengers travel Coach from Boston to Albany (not in a through sleeper car); is that true? So can one get carry-on baggage checked at Albany during the car joining for the overnight Roomette portion of the trip?
