I get that advance seats are not a *G benefit but what about the LH/UA transatlantic JV? Not being able to select seats is a huge negative wrt the JV. Also UA’s own metal flights EU-EWR tend to all be at 9:30am (i said tend, I know they have more in summer and the late LHR/FRA-EWR). I just don’t get why UA/LH don’t want to make things easier for their elites like Sky and OW do. Don’t give me exit row but let me at least pick an aisle seat for goodness sake.
