First experience, wondering if others have encountered it. Past 2 years 6-8 targeted NLL Biz Plats and 4-5 targeted Biz Golds, all instant approvals except one Biz Plat at 65 days after prior Biz Plat (to confirm 90 day rule) which was approved during a 1 minute recon call 28 days later. Last approvals for both cards were 94 days ago within 15 minutes of each other.

Yesterday, instant approval for Biz Plat based on snail mail offer. Online Biz Gold offer application a few minutes later: “To process your application we need some additional information about you, and if applicable, the other business owners of your company. Please call Customer Care at 1-800-567-1083”. For the Biz Plat application I didn’t login, for the Biz Gold application I did login.

Called that number immediately, “computer system for our representatives to look at this information is down, call back later” called another recon line (866-314-0237), same message. Same message at both numbers this morning. Called customer service (800-492-3344) this morning, transferred to new accounts, was told back office is looking at it, they need 3-5 days, I cannot speak with “back office”.

2 concerns: lack of instant approval and (supposedly) their system down for more that 24 hours.

Has anyone else encountered either or both of these problems, particularly in the setting of multiple, almost every 91-92 days, targeted NLL Biz Plat and Biz Gold applications/approvals? Of course I’m thinking the worst, impending financial review and/or shutdown. Thank you.
