After a few evening snacks in the club, we turned in for the night as we had an early morning and a 5.5-hour transcon.

Our Black Uber was on time and waiting for us for the 35-minute ride over to Dulles International.

We arrived on time, thanked our driver and when right to security. We cleared in under 5-minutes using both the Clear and Pre-check line.

Cool vintage photos along the walk to the people mover as the Dulles Airtrain doesn't go out to Terminal D, yet.

....and the mover was packed! The smell of morning breath was in the air.

After a quick ride past B and C terminals, we arrived at D 7-minutes later, we were last to disembark. Dulles, Terminal D; Old, dark, low ceilings, few windows and not very warm or welcoming. It is really a cattle chute for humans.

We went right to our gate, D26 as boarding was to commence within 15-minuites.

On Schedule, hooray.

When I booked our return, I was able to secure two fauxlaris seats for $347 OW each.

Mrs. Glasman and I shared 1D and 1G forward facing with larger footwells.

As usual, not much.

We pushed back on time and after a 10-minute taxi we were airborne and off to LAX.
I settled in for the for the 5.5-hour flight and turned-on the movie, Col. Tom Parker which was actually pretty good.

Once at altitude the FA started their service which was totally rushed. Notice, food before drinks. Makes zero sense.
A typical disgusting United breakfast with a piece of plastic that doubled as cheese. I enjoyed the fruit.

Thats all I have to say about the flight. We landed on time at LAX and was in the bustling T7 after a 5-minuite taxi.

It was a gorgeous morning in LAX and a great day to be flying.

We waited for our BFL driver friend just inside Door-19 in baggage claim.

10 minutes later he arrived, we he loaded our bags and settled in for the 2hr drive home.
Beautiful weather and scenery over the Serria Nevada Moutain range.

We arrived safely at home, thanked our driver and started to enjoy the remainder of our weekend.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this TR!

Please join me next time when Mrs. Glasman and I depart on our rescheduled RTW on Swiss and Singapore with stops in the Maldives and Tokyo, just in time for the Cherry Blossom bloom.
