living in Manhattan, these types of runs rarely work for me. the cost of getting to and from the airport (esp. LGA since there is no subway/train option) makes these too expensive. and, sure, i can take the bus to LGA, but that is so time consuming. the train to EWR and JFK is better. a free ride to the airport would be nice, but ain't happening. with these short runs, the cost of a taxi to and from the airport is often equal to the cost of the air ticket.
