This past Tuesday ORF/LGA (Republic E 175) I was the ONLY pax in F with just about six in Y. F FA refused to serve me a PDB claiming it was against health and safety regulations. Then she somewhat rudely served me one drink in air, no snacks, then ran in the back of the plane and crouched down in the last (empty) row of Y. The Y FA had to finally pick up my glass before landing.
Being lied to is not acceptable. I would have no issue contacting AA and saying, "FA So-and-So mentioned that serving pre-departure drinks is against health and safety regulations. What regulations are those?"
