Welcome to the post Covid reality. Demand is high, supply is low, everyone has a million miles saved up, and many airlines NH included are releasing less awards than usual to capitalize.
Not even to mention travel agencies from China are still unable to send tourist groups to major countries (US, JP, AU, etc) other than limited approved places. Remeber they represents of the vast majority of mainlander Chinese who travels aboard. That power has not been unleashed yet.
