Completely agree. I actually thought the Chelsea was going to exist in this spot.. Honestly speaking, this could be a short term fix for them if they wanted to address the concerns, most of the bar staff that filled in at the Chelsea at the start are from the Bridge. Anyway, I think we've all accepted the Chelsea as the failure it is but we can hope. For those with access to just Greenwich however, do enjoy the Bridge, it's a very very nice area. I haven't seen the bar menu, but I assume it's more or less on par with Sohos offerings.
As for it keeping it's peaceful nature, fortunately the agents at the desk I think will still direct most people to the Greenwich lounge because most will just want the food/seating and it still has drinks in it which should satisfy most. Their objective is to not have people come back to them and ask where the food/bathrooms are so they'll probably play it safe and send them straight through.
