I'm looking at booking a Qantas flight with Avios on ba.com, which appears to be quite challenging. In particular, I'm looking at booking YVR-SYD. I understand that Qantas awards flights become available 330 days in advance, but there doesn't seem to be anything available when I try checking around 330 days out, not even economy. Does Qantas just not release much to BA, for example they open it to their own FF's early and only the leftovers are available to OW partners. Or is this a case that high demand means you need to be online right at the time the flights are released? (In which case, does anyone know what time they are loaded into BA's Avios booking system?)
