This happens to me often. Flying with my wife who has earned GM status, she gets thanked by name and I, a DM sitting next to her, nothing.

I understand there is probably a science towards capturing my loyalty vs. fighting for hers, but it always makes me laugh.

The only DL employees that regularly thank me for my status are the people who staff the SC entry it seems. Not that I care, I would just as soon have everyone ignore it.
