I have a status match pending myself, and SQ announced, it would take them 1–2 weeks. Not really an issue if they wouldn't make that, since flying J gives hardly any real extra benefits with Gold status (unless hauling around a truckload of luggage), and I already have enough SQ tickets booked to re-qualify for Gold anyway. And with my initial request, I already got the info that with CX-DM and the amount of SQ tickets booked, Gold would be granted. We'll see.

SQ status match is not officially published (at the moment), though when you ask, you get a form + instructions and also (in my case) an indication whether the request might be successful.
