Marriott clearly got VERY stingy with these bonuses. Sure, maybe we shouldn't deserve them in certain circumstances, but they really restrict them much more than other travel partners of Chase and Amex.
I get that, but I literally only have a Canadian Bonvoy card. Just the basic one. It's a whole other country! And a completely different card. Very odd. I guess I'll cancel my Canadian card and wait 3 months and see if sth changes, but weird. I called and they said if that's what the system spits out there's nothing they can do and nothing they can even tell me as to WHY I'm not eligible. Just "the computer says so and the computers word is final". Weird.
