Kind of bad practice, if I may say so. But I am pretty sure noone gives two tiny mouse droppings about it. Is there anything I can do to actually get a refundable fare for that departure when the site will not show me one

? I do not use the app, neither do I wish to install it.
OK, that's really, really odd.
I just did the same search that you did, and I, very briefly, saw the $583 non-refundable GAA5AFFN fare. It then got replaced (?!) by the $685 refundable GAA5AFF
M fare. As in, I saw the original text, and then the page reflowed, and then I got the updated value.
Two things to try: 1 - search for fully refundable
economy. You'll get a column for fully refundable business anyway, and when I did that, I only saw the correct price.
2 - Call and ask for a fully refundable fare, and make sure the price sounds right before you agree.
