Generally, I just find the AA arrival lounge never crowded while the BA one always almost full. All things being equal, I always think "less is more" when it comes to the number of guests in these kinds of facilities.

PS - Having made the T5/T3 to and fro transfer a few times, I'm never doing this again, if I can help it. Much much better just staying with a single terminal when it comes to transfers.
