Sawada does not take phone reservations so even a great concierge would be of no help. Book on Omakase. He typically opens seats every Friday, and you will need fast fingers. Keep in mind Sawada-san is a very strict, traditional sushi master who speaks little English so if you prefer a loose relaxed atmosphere this won't be the best place for you.
Sugita will not be bookable by a concierge either as he stopped taking phone reservations even from prior customers on February 7.
Hashimoto is fantastic and still quite bookable, but you need to book 2 months in advance. I am headed there tonight for dinner, and I booked this reservation in early January.
