are you saying that it won’t connect to the inflight WIFI Access point, or that once connected AND you authenticate with a purchase or subscription that it won’t authorize internet pass through?
There is nothing unique in the iphone SE that would prohibit either of these things. It was previous just an iPhone 6s in an iphone 5 form factor and the newest model is just and iPhone 13 in an iPhone 8 form factor. There might be some tiny internal changes, but nothing that would prohibit this.
MAYBE you have some setting enabled that is impacting this ability to either connect to the AP or get internet or authenticate.
