There was a functionality on the Thales system found on the 788s/A380 + some 777+789s that allowed you to connect some devices to the screen to atleast view photos on the "larger" seat back screens. I'm not sure if the Panosonic system has this functionality though and i dont believe many people even knew about it, not even crew.
