Hi,
My Lufthansa outward flight for 18-Feb-2023 consisted of two legs:
- LH1407 - Belgrade, Serbia (BEG) to Frankfurt am Main, Germany (FRA)
- LH54 - Frankfurt am Main, Germany (FRA) to Hanover, Germany (HAJ)
LH1407 started from
BEG at 03:25 PM (with a delay of 1 hour and 55 minutes) and landed at
FRA at 05:18 PM (with a delay of 1 hour and 48 minutes). As a result of the delay, I was late to board
LH54. They could not put me on an another flight that evening, so I took a rental and drove to Hanover.
After that, I contacted Lufthansa Customer Service requesting compensation. I got a reply yesterday stating I was
not eligible for compensation as
LH54 was
canceled due to exceptional circumstances, i.e. long waiting time at the security line. However, I remember checking
LH54 status on 18-Feb-2023, it was listed as departed (and later on also landed) with minimal delay.
Does someone here have access to a historical flight status records to check whether
LH54 was actually cancelled (or not) on 18-Feb-2023? A screenshot or a data record or something with that effect would be of help.
Any general or specific advice regarding compensation claim with Lufthansa for the situation described?
Thanks,
Ivana
