Friend of mine flew the same route one month before me in economy and had the same experience. In a couple months, won't be an issue for those who wish to mask and those who don't.
That's been my experience on 3 ANA flights last fall. As long as your mask is on when leaving your seat, they don't seem to care much. You just have to avoid getting placed in the 'troublemaker foreigner' category, which you will be placed in if you decide to walk on the plane or get up in the aisle without one.
