Interesting that you think I am a guy... I, like many others, find the 20% a year depreciation unreasonable, especially now, when people just restarted traveling after a three-year hiatus. Just trying to make pax aware of the regulations that protect them. BTW, the United States Department of Transportation requires that airlines provide a substantive response to claims within 60 days of submittal (30 days for the acknowledgement of receiving the claim). I, for one, have submitted my claim in the USA 8 weeks ago, and have heard nothing except the form-email of claim acknowledgement.
