Others have commented that they are getting damage/theft coverage on their phones when using the card for service payments. This seems like it should conform, however the card coverages discussed seem to max out at $600 with a deductible per event. Still, if I have more than one line, and pay 90% with a CC it would seem pretty hard for the CC company to argue I didn't pay the whole amount for one phone with their instrument. Seems like a pretty good argument in small claims court?
I'm trying to fathom who would waste their time in small claims court over a phone, but ok...
