I would not worry about it. We stayed in that exact same room type in our stay last month and loved it. For the city view, your windows will be looking over Circus Circus towards the north. Be aware that access to those rooms is via a different set of private elevators near the Hilton lobby, but you'll be shown the "secret passage" from the Crockfords lobby to get to them.
We had this room last summer. It is a very long walk (5+ minutes at brisk pace) to get to the main Crockfords lobby, and you have to go through the crowded Hilton and Conrad lobbies in order to get there. If you want to enjoy some of the complimentary breakfast or grab a drink at the Crockfords lobby bar, it's a 10 minute round trip. It definitely takes the "luxury" check in experience away to get assigned one of the West rooms.
