The worst thing about PE on any LH-group airline is that they charge for seat assignments, and it can add up quickly when there is more than one person. Not having a dedicated lav is also a major drawback, but that depends on the plane. As for the actual seats, I have flown PE on nearly a dozen airlines and they all seemed about the same to me. Much better than standard Y, but still nearly impossible to sleep in, at least not without overindulging in the lounge first.
