Thanks to all of you who have posted here - I can see the plan going forward will be to apply for a renewal of both of our Nexus cards.

Since this is one of those things it would be easy to forget to take care of if you put is aside for awhile, I think I will start this process now for my wife (who IS within the period of time where she can renew her Nexus card) and start mine as soon as my reapplication period opens. I will track any progress on this here for documentation purposes.

As an aside, the renewal for my wife's card took less than 5 minutes and most of this was to verify existing (on file) info. Quick and easy.
