Just checking:

1a) Anyone with a 8-24 hr layover with first available routing / ticket as sold by ET qualifies for a free transit visa and a hotel room?
1b) Is there any way I should see the eligibility under "manage my booking" on ET's pages?
2) As there is currently no Visa in arrival in Ethiopia: Transit visas are still issued on arrival? Does nationality matter?
3) In case there is no transit visa and hotel for them - will ET check baggage all the way from start to end?

I'm asking for a group of friends passing through. Our goal is to take them around the city, both ways (same ~16 hrs layover time)
