So you are booking a UA SFO-YVR end-on-end with an AC YVR-YWG fare. Most of UA's SFO-YVR fares are not combinable with AC's domestic fares as they don't allow combination with AC fares on the 'within Canada' tariff.
I wrote out a long and very knowledgeable sounding response. And then I deleted it because none of it helped.
I flew a YWG-YYZ back in 2018 that was a UA codeshare with AC. Have things always been like this for YVR flights, or is this a COVID/post-COVID border closure leftover?
Surely west-coast flights to Canada have not always been this difficult? Oh great and illustrious Scott Kirby, when will you deliver us from this sad state of cross-border travel?
