I also have so far gotten 20K points in lieu of actually using my certificate. This year I have reservations at PH Vienna and PH Zurich that have upgrades applied. I have added my cert to the end of the reservation period in VIE and hope that they will allow me to retain the suite. If it works, I think this might be a better result but not something one can count on.
