Sheraton Clayton

Just stayed at the Sheraton Clayton Center and thought I'd report here. Lovely property. They have a free shuttle from the airport (took 15 minutes). The lobby is very nice (was decorated for Christmas with a gingerbread house, real trees, etc. - very lovely - not "over the top"). There is a bar right off the lobby as well (good bartender - not "weak" drinks).

They have an indoor heated pool along with a jacuzzi on the 5th floor. Rooms are a bit small (I was first given a room with a king bed on the 4th floor - it was horrible). Called to the front desk, spoke with Rob (now here is somebody who KNOWS how to handle customers). Explained that I was surprised this was an upgraded room (since I'm Plat). He said "oh gosh, it's not at all. . .let me move you". Moved me to the 15th floor to a 1 BR suite. VERY small bathroom in this suite, but the view was great! I saw the arch!!! . There was a separate sitting room, free bottle of water, two newspapers delivered to the room this AM, and Rob gave me a movie to watch for free last night as well ("for your inconvenience"). The bed was a Sheraton sleeper bed. There was an iron, ironing board, and robe in the closet as well.

The location is an excellent location - 30 restaurants within walking distance. They also will shuttle people around within a few miles for free.

The front desk staff this morning was very nice and pleasant (especially Courtney).

I would recommend this property if you're staying in Clayton.
