Most of these contracts are kept away from the public. The deal was made in response to a problem; things keep evolving. Revenge travel is on the decline, changes in aircraft deliveries, a global economic decline... it's hard to tell how all this will evolve.
It's worth also considering how this is playing out for QR. I think most pax prefer QR rather than AY flights, but pax don't get to vote on this deal. We don't see the other side of this and how happy the deal is making QR.
