We like nice steakhouses but I'd generally rather go out to Morton's, Del Frisco's, etc. than eat in a hotel steakhouse that is probably more expensive and not as good a meal.

Of the places I've actually stayed, I liked Venetian the most, and Delano second. I guess I stayed at Cosmopolitan but not Vdara. I've never stayed at Caesar's in any kind of room.
I have stayed at several Caesars properties and none of them impressed me.

My favorites are Vegas hotels are Cosmopolitan (for location / food) and Resorts World (for Casino itself). Wynn and Encore are good options if the room is a priority as well. I wasn't a fan of the Bellagio / Caesar rooms - many of the base rooms are quite small.

If you're looking for a 3:2 BJ, Resorts World puts you closer downtown so an Uber is cheaper. Also it's right across the street from Tacos El Gordo.

Venetian is a great hotel as well but pricy because it's close to the strip. Don't sleep on the Casino restaurants--there's great food in most casinos. Sometimes pricy but usually excellent.
