Includes 46kg hold luggage each as well as seat selection. And with the flights now taking 14 hours we REALLY appreciate how JAL have set themselves apart with their Economy seats and service.
Same 3 flights are about £5,000 now.

I took into consideration that BA flights don’t include hold luggage (another £100) which meant that JAL effectively offered the cheapest direct flights at that time. Sitting 9 abreast within B787 Dreamliners for 14 hours (the reality for the LON-TYO BA and ANA routes) is way less attractive than spending that time in an 8 abreast configuration on a JAL B787 for that amount of time. If you are flying Economy, ANA and JAL are not equivalent.
