I’ve been waiting 3 days for the status of my wife’s award tickets using AA miles on JAL to change from ‘on request’ to ticketed. Has this happened to anyone else here? One ticket is with miles from my account, the other is from her account for what it matters. Miles still sitting in both of our accounts.

I called AA and the rep said because its so far out that it could take 8-10 days for them to confirm it? I’m concerned that the hold on the award seats (2 one ways) will somehow expire if that’s the case. They checked the records and said everything looked good.

I had JAL award back in 2019 take 1 day but never this long. Just want to be sure to be sure 😁
