Comments: This one-category upgrade to a 75 square meter studio actually was preferable to the massive, gaudy Mayfair Suite we got our last stay (as Platinum) here. Recently renovated and design-wise more reminiscent of the Pacific Place RC, the studio was super comfortable and, traveling with kiddos, we really appreciated the dining area and pantry.
Its nice for JW Marriott Jakarta to offer you alternate benefit in lieu of upgrade.
As For RC Mega Kuningan, interesting that you receive upgrade on both your stays.
Stay there around 5-6 times around 2019 -2020 and got zero upgrade whatsoever.
On my stay during covid period (2020) I asked the FD how busy is the hotel, he replied that hotel was very quiet. Yet few minutes later during check in I ask about elite upgrade, the same gentleman replied : unfortunately the hotel was full tonight. we can't upgrade you this time.
