I'm not sure that is entirely relevant, but received an email that said "there is a disruption to your flight" about 6 hours before flight time and this is why I reached out to customer service agent. I thought they were overbooked and wanted to ask about volunteering. I asked the agent about whether they need volunteers but the agent said the flight was canceled altogether.
