Iberia didn’t let me fly back in November for a ticket purchased 11 months prior. I had a ticket number and PNR but they claimed it was suspended for “non-payment” and only found my money days later. I had to improvise at my own expense, which included finding a way to be on the same return flights with Iberia because my mother was booked for it. For almost two months they offered no more than an apology until they finally agreed to EU 261 compensation for the outgoing flight. I had banked on the points in that trip and subsequent travel to cover baggage with BA this summer, without it I will be short of Oneworld Sapphire. Think I might have a case for OCR?
