I've got a question regarding when should I accept a gold card from GGL.
My current situation is I qualified for BA Gold before the pandemic and it has been extended until now. My qualify year ended 8 February and I'm currently gold during my grace period until end of March since I didn't manage to requalify last 12 months.

I've got a friend gifting me a new gold card, I was nominated earlier this week and the email I got said the following
"As you're already a Gold Member, this means that at the end of your current membership year, you'll automatically remain at the Gold tier for another 12 months. At the start of your new membership year, your Tier Points will be set to zero. However, your Avios will still be there for you to enjoy."

So what will happen if I accept it now? It say I'll get gold when my next membership year starts which is in February 2024.
Or will I get the gold status on 1 April (when my graace is over) until end of the current qualify period?

If I don't accept it now and wait to accept the invitation until 1 April, will I get the gold card for 2 consecutive membership years with BA? Can I wait to accept the invitation 1 month or does it have to be send again?
