Re point 2 applying GUF to an ex EU BAH - your suspicion is correct- tried doing this today, and I was advised by UK office that this needs to be done by Bremen. If the booking could be made online, then they could apply the GUF retrospectively, Ill need to wait until Monday and hope that the availability hasn't gone!
