Normally it would be accepted. Going tomorrow is one option (and BA would pay the hotel costs). In the current scenario, there are business class seats on VS23 and for BA plated tickets on BA metal, BA would put people on that service.
Interesting - does that mean we should have been on VS23 rather than AA135? I’ve never flown either business class. Timing wise the AA is better anyway.
