Gotcha, but all I asked was to re-issue the GGU, and the response I got was that they were happy to do so “as an exception.” I did get a 2024 expiration, which is nice, but the response read like it was an exception to re-issue at all. Maybe the answer is that the future dates is a known issue they plan to fix, and in the meantime agents have been instructed to keep issuing with the future date and are just trying to tell us not to count on that forever? (And maybe that’s what you were saying, but it’s been a long week and I’m kind of dense by now.)
