Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Havasu - London Bridge

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lake Havasu - London Bridge

What is your Priority Club status?

Diamond

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
2 Queen beds standard booked and received.
Was told "no upgrades" due to sellout.

How are the rooms?
Very Nice. Lots of counter space means room for multiple suitcases, coolers, etc. Bathroom has lots of counter space. Watch the slippery shower!
Beds are quite comfortable.
Ask for the bridge side instead of the highway side to reduce the excessive noise.

How is the exec. lounge?
None

What was good and what was bad?

Good
Breakfast was excellent, although seating can be hard to come by.
24-hour self-service in lobby coffee and tea was appreciated.
Outstanding location within 100 yards of London Bridge.
Free parking.
Repair to inoperative in-room safe was completed within 45 minutes of notification.

Bad
Had to rekey each day due to new staff not understanding consecutive night redemptions. We were able to stay in the same room the entire stay.
Loud in room HVAC.
We caught housekeeping entering room despite "do not disturb" placard on door.
In-room mini-frig does not have a freezer compartment.
Ice machines only on every-other floor.
Check-in via app did not work.
Close to the highway which has considerable (noisy) traffic all hours.

So-So
Some staff were very helpful and friendly; others were noticeably unhelpful.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Would return for the 23000+29000+23000 points for the three nights.
Local annual event pushed hotel rates to seasonal highs.
