ROKNA, Thank you. My ticket number is 125- so I really appreciate your pointing this out to me! But it may be an Economy Saver ticket category.

But I am still uncertain because Aer Lingus seems to consider the 10kg bag dropped off at check-in also as a carry-on bag. When I look at my booking on aerlingus.com, it states that my ticket includes "10kg bag dropped off at check-in" so it doesn't refer to it as a carry-on bag.
